Run Microsoft Excel 2003 as normal, and open an existing workbook or create a new workbook.

The TipX icon appears on the standard toolbar (and is also accessible from the View menu). Press the TipX icon to show or hide the TipX window as required.

|
The TipX window can be positioned anywhere on the screen, either overlapped with or outside of the Excel window.

When cell data is written with the pen into the TipX window, the handwriting is recognized and the underlying Excel worksheet cell is updated automatically.
